Process
The risograph printer uses individual transparent inks to print bright and vibrant colors based on a master sheet that burns an image into the screen of the printer- similar to screen printing. Each color is printed one at a time and layered to blend together and make a wide variety of colors. I thought the vibrant colors were well suited for a children's book and wanted to capture memories and lessons from influential times in my life. I printed multiple copies of the book which took over 8 hours as each page had to run through the printer at least 5 times to achieve all of the colors and many of the drafts had color misprints and mis registration due to the nature of the printer. I then hand-cut and bound each book (5 total) using an accordion fold.

Inspiration
Most of the pages were designed from influential moments and places in my life. Below are images of the pages vs the place I was basing the image off of.
